Sepang
About Sepang
Designed by Hermann Tilke as a state-of-the-art facility. The twin main grandstands echo the Malaysian flag design. Extreme heat and humidity test drivers and machinery to their limits. Hosted F1 from 1999 to 2017. The long back straights and tight hairpins create overtaking opportunities. Turn 1 and the following complex provide dramatic passes. Also hosts the Sepang 12 Hours endurance race.
