The first F1 circuit in the Middle East. Desert sand can blow onto the track affecting grip. The outer circuit layout was used in 2020 producing the shortest F1 lap time ever. Hosts both day and night races under floodlights. Turn 1 is a tight right-hander after a long straight providing overtaking. The paddock is built from local sandstone. Located in the desert south of Manama.
