About Kyalami
Located near Johannesburg at 1,500 meters altitude which reduces engine power. Hosted the South African Grand Prix from 1967 to 1993. Jody Scheckter won his world championship here in 1979. The circuit was redesigned in 1992 to shorten the lap. Purchased by Porsche South Africa in 2014 and upgraded. Currently hosts the Kyalami 9 Hours endurance race.
