About Hockenheimring
Originally built as a test track for Mercedes through the forest. The old circuit had long straights through the trees before being shortened in 2002. Jim Clark died here in a Formula 2 race in 1968. The stadium section provides excellent viewing for spectators. Hosted the German Grand Prix 36 times. Located in the Rhine valley near Heidelberg.
