About Daytona International Speedway
Home of the Daytona 500, the Super Bowl of NASCAR. The 31-degree banking allows speeds over 320 km/h. The tri-oval design was revolutionary when built. Intimidating crashes at the finish line have become part of its legend. Dale Earnhardt died here on the final lap of the 2001 Daytona 500. The infield road course is used for the Rolex 24. Holds 101,000 seated spectators.
