About Red Bull Ring

Originally called Osterreichring, then rebuilt as the A1 Ring in 1997. Purchased by Dietrich Mateschitz and reopened in 2011. Located in the Styrian mountains at 700 meters elevation. A short but fast circuit with only 10 corners. Niki Lauda won the first GP here in 1970. The Remus and Gosser corners are the main overtaking points.
