About Circuito di Pescara
The longest circuit ever to host a world championship Formula 1 race. Public roads between Pescara and Spoltore in Abruzzo. The 1957 Pescara Grand Prix was won by Stirling Moss. The downhill approach through the village terrified even the greats. Racing ceased in 1961 on safety grounds.
