About Circuit de la Sarthe
Home of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the oldest active endurance race. The Mulsanne Straight was 6 km long before chicanes were added in 1990. Porsche has won here 19 times, more than any manufacturer. The race covers over 5,000 km in 24 hours. The Dunlop chicane, Tertre Rouge, and Porsche Curves are iconic sections. The track uses public roads for most of the year.
