About Fuji Speedway
Owned by Toyota. The 1.475 km front straight is one of the longest in motorsport. Hosted the Japanese Grand Prix in 1976-77 and 2007-08. James Hunt won his 1976 world championship here in torrential rain. The circuit sits at the base of Mount Fuji with spectacular views. The 30-degree banking of the original 100R corner was fearsome. Toyota conducts testing here regularly.
